My eyes feel totally normal, if a little dry. The way they look, well, not so normal....
From that picture, it seems like my eyes should hurt, or at least burn or feel gritty or something.
In other news, it's the weekend. Yay! No big plans, except we might paint the shed we got for the back yard the same day I had Lasik (otherwise it would have been the focus of the blog). Unless it's 99 degrees with 100% humidity, and at that point I doubt the paint would ever dry. So I'm kind of hoping for perfect painting weather, and also kind of hoping for the nastiest, most humid weekend ever.

Those lovely red "bruise" spots are just that, bruises. Do you remember your "leaving the hospital" baby picture? You had those lovely red "bruises" all around the irises, but you were so cute they didn't make you look like an alien! Cute covers a multiple of sins, as you have proven all your life! :-) Mom

Thank you so much for the detailed response! I watched a surgery on YouTube - which made me nervous. The flicking of the flap was the most disgusting part.
I have mine on Thursday morning. My sister has a wedding shower six hours away on Saturday, but I think that I will stay here instead of going. Did you feel good enough to ride in a car for six hours and socialize just two days after?
I am most nervous about the several hours following the procedure. The idea of feeling like I have a contact in backwards for several hours is scary. However, my dad is a doctor, so I will have pain pills nearby. =)
