Slightly creative

Besides making my mom's purse, I haven't been doing anything creative lately. I've noticed that picking up something to do, even if I'd really rather just sit and watch mindless television, often gets my mind going again. So tonight I opened up the 3rd version of the little book I've been working off and on (I have 1 complete version finished, and it's okay, but it's not open to the public. The 2nd version is a lot better, but I'm a little stumped at the end. The 3rd version really has nothing to do with the first 2, but I still call it that). I also went to the piano and picked out a little tune with simple harmony that was part of a show we watched this evening, which put me in kind of a noodle around on the piano mood...

In short, I'm feeling a little better than dull. Now all I need is a week's vacation and I'll feel awesome. So we're going to have to stick with better than dull.
